FAIR Referral Program

Learn more about our student support services

Parents, caregivers, and advocates can turn to Georgia Appleseed for free support when children face barriers to accessing education. Through our FAIR (Fairness, Advocacy & Individualized Representation) Project and other student support services, we help families navigate long-term suspension and expulsion, school disciplinary hearings, public school enrollment challenges, and special education concerns, including disability-related supports, 504 Plans, and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Families who qualify may receive:
  • One-on-one coaching to prepare for school disciplinary hearings and school meetings
  • Trainings, online courses, and practical advocacy resources
  • Special education clinics for disability-related concerns
  • Direct legal representation in select school-related cases, when available

Georgia Appleseed serves children and families in all 159 Georgia counties. If you or a child you know needs assistance, complete our referral form using the link below.
