Don’t miss Georgia Appleseed’s Mary Kathryn Velazquez, who will be leading a discussion in the Social Determinants of Health session, presenting “Enhancing Student Well-Being Through School-Based Programs”.

This discussion will focus on increasing access to school-based mental health services, trauma-informed care, and supportive policies to foster healthier educational environments. We’ll explore reducing the criminalization of behavioral issues and identifying actionable strategies to improve student well-being across Georgia.
