Give from your IRA

If you are over 70.5, giving from your IRA helps you reduce your taxable income — and for those over 72 who must take a Required Minimum Distribution, you can do that easily while supporting Georgia Appleseed.

• Work with your financial advisor to request and submit the Qualified Charitable Distribution IRA One-Time Withdrawal form.
• Complete the form with your information. The information to include is:

Employer matching

You may be able to increase your impact by having your gift matched by your employer! Check with your Human Resources department for eligibility and how to request matching funds for your gift. If your employer offers this program, they can provide a matching gift form to send to Georgia Appleseed to notify us of your donation.
