Each year, nearly 130,000 Georgia students are suspended—often for minor, nonviolent offenses. These exclusions can have long-lasting consequences, including steep drops in graduation rates. For too many families, accessing legal help quickly enough to make a difference just isn’t possible. Seedmore changes that.

Seedmore began as a project in an undergraduate Emory University course led by Professor David Schweidel and has grown into a vital resource through the leadership of students and collaboration with Georgia Appleseed’s attorney network and partner firms.
