Patricia (Patsy) White
Patsy White is a Massachusetts native who has worked for mission-driven, social justice organizations for over 30 years. She attended the University of Massachusetts in Boston and Amherst, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts in social thought and political economy.
With an activist background dating back more than 40 years, Ms. White has taken on a number of roles throughout the nonprofit sector. As a volunteer, she staffed hotlines in the 1970s, organized student efforts in the 1980s, and provided consulting services to address diversity and organization sustainability in the early 1990s. By the late 1990s, Ms. White brought her expertise to the funding world as a grantmaker for nonprofits in the Atlanta area. In the early 2000s, she joined a national effort to change the way faith communities addressed violence in the home. She then operated a business that provided back office solutions to nonprofit and corporate clients.
Ms. White serves Georgia Appleseed as its Program Manager.
